TaxisBarbados.com acts as an intermediary agent for third party transport service providers.

The contract or (final agreement) for the provision of the transportation service is between you, the client/traveler and the third party service provider/Driver.

By booking a service on this website, you have entered into a contract with your Driver.

Bookings or Reservations at TaxisBarbados.com are subject to the availability of the transfer companies and the appropriate vehicles.

Travel information/Details – Delivery Policy

For transfers from airport or cruise terminal, your Driver will consider the time matching your flight number or vessel identity added by you the client into the information/booking section at the time of booking.

For transfers from airport or cruise terminal, based on the scheduled arrival time of the flight or vessel provided by the client at the time of booking, your driver will adjust according to the time

The time it takes for the client to collect luggage and be processed through local customs will be factored into the pick up time by the driver, with a maximum wait time of 90min airport and 90min cruise terminal.

NB. Time of arrival of plane or cruise ship is not equal to the pickup time of the Driver

Your driver will monitor the arrival time of your flight and where possible in the case of a cruise ship. If the arrival time of a flight does not match the time mentioned in the booking, the driver will use the updated time of the flight as the new pickup time of the client/passengers.

All clients/passengers are required to check the accuracy of their booking details in advance. This helps to ensure the most efficient delivery of our service to our customers/clients.

All changes to bookings (delays/discrepancies) must be reported directly to TaxisBarbados.com via our system (to our website via email or through the contact number provided on the website).

Any adjustments to your flight/cruise arrival or departure times will be taken into consideration, but may result in a wait period according to the availability of your driver.

If the delay exceeds one (1) hour,TaxisBarbados.com advises the client to contact the Driver through the contact number provided or via our email address provided on the website.

Premium transfers and Premier Luxury transfers offer exclusive and non stop services to your destinations. With the only stops being those pre booked on this website, by you the client.

Liability

The liability for the provision of transfer service between you and your Driver is restricted solely to these two parties between whom the service has been contracted.

TaxisBarbados.com liabilities resulting from this agreement shall therefore be limited to those of a third party broker between the client and the Driver.

Any liabilities resulting from the provision of the transfer service shall be the sole responsibility of the Driver and their insurance companies.

TaxisBarbados.com and/or the Driver is not liable for damages resulting from delays,including delays caused by waiting at the airport, damages caused by missing any possible transfers and connection,connecting flights if and to the extent that TaxisBarbados.com and or driver demonstrates that their employees took reasonable measures to prevent the damages.

In agreeing to the terms and conditions, the client accepts that TaxisBarbados.com will in no way be held responsible for any losses, expenses or claims made by you the client/passengers in the event of any problem associated with the transfer and all claims will be redirected to the driver.

TaxisBarbados.com will, however, use all reasonable efforts to assist the user/customer in resolving any issues or complaints within the shortest possible time.

Complaints must always be reported within 14 days. Failure to do so will result in such complaints not being processed thereafter.

Availability of Services

TaxisBarbados.com is entitled, on behalf of the Driver, to refuse any order placed by any client.

TaxisBarbados.com does not guarantee to successfully allocate a driver to every requested booking.

All information given on this website is deemed given in good faith and believed to be correct at the time of doing so.

TaxisBarbados.com will not be held responsible for any inaccuracies due to information which may have not been accurately provided by you the client, to TaxisBarbados.com or it’s drivers, when making your online reservation/ booking.
Please Note Failure to provide accurate info in the provided booking system, could result in no transfer, as well as no refund, inability to send updated information relevant to drivers as well as confirmation of reservations..

TaxisBarbados.com will not be held responsible for any mistakes made on the booking system by you the client. The client is hereby advised to compare their booking details with the confirmation email/receipt, sent by the system at the time of booking.

TaxisBarbados.com will not be held responsible for any additional cost if we could not allocate a driver for your booking and subsequently had to cancel your ride with us, due to inaccurate information provided..

Transport service

The route to or from your destination cannot be guaranteed and the google maps displayed on this website is solely for information purposes.

Whilst reasonable effort is made to ensure that pickup times are respected, they are not guaranteed.

Unused transfers are not refundable and alternative transport cost will not be reimbursed unless so authorized by the management of this website or by customer service management.

If authorised to take alternative transport, please ensure that you obtain a receipt and submit it to our customer service centre for review.

No payment will be made for travel expense claims submitted without the valid receipts or before information and investigations have concluded to support such claims.

For arrival transfers the driver will wait for the client for a maximum of 60 minutes after the arrival of flight or vessel.

For departures the driver will wait by the pickup point for a maximum of 20 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.

If the client requests that the driver waits beyond those times, a waiting fee may be charged directly by the driver.

If the client does not wish to pay the waiting fee, the driver reserves the right to leave.

Unused transfers are not refundable and alternative transport/transfers cost will not be reimbursed.

TaxisBarbados.com reserves the right to adjust fees if inaccurate information is given or entered on the booking form, such as luggage amounts, size ,undeclared large item, golf bags etc..

The client is responsible for ensuring that they schedule their pick up to the airport/cruise terminal to meet their specified check in time. Passengers are required to check in at least two and a half hours ahead of scheduled flight departures.
TaxisBarbados.com is not responsible for any cost the client may incur by missing their flight, if the client has scheduled the pickup time too late for the flight departure time.

If the client is unable to find their driver at the airport or cruise terminal or local address, or is unsure of the meeting point or there is any inconvenience, the client should contact the driver via the contact number provided for the driver or on our website.

If the client is unable to reach their driver, call our customer service center number (printed on the booking voucher)and TaxisBarbados.com will assist you as soon as possible.

In the event that the client opts to leave the airport or pickup area/address by another means of transport,TaxisBarbados.com will not be able to assist them thereafter.

Complaints must always be reported within 14days otherwise it will no longer be processed.

The driver will pick the client up and drop the client off as close as possible to the given addresses. In the event that a conventional route is not available due to circumstances beyond our control,such as weather conditions, road accidents, road works, or potential damage to the service provider vehicle, the driver will use an alternative route to reach the agreed destination, but in such instances the client may be liable for any additional cost.

TaxisBarbados.com uses SMS Confirmation messages, a service which is dependent upon the telephone service provider networks and is beyond our control. If a text message between us and the client is lost or delayed the customer is asked to refer to the information provided in the email or on the booking form/receipt.

It is possible that a driver may arrive later than the scheduled pick up time due to traffic delays or other unforeseen circumstances.TaxisBarbados.com asks for clients to remain patient and allow for a 10 minute minimum wait period before contacting the driver or the website.

Payment

TaxisBarbados.com offers only one payment option:

This payment option is as follows.
1)Options – Full payment during the online reservation process. Changes and Cancellations by You

Any changes (e.g. flights, delays, address, pickup time, number of passengers or suitcases) on the transfer details must be requested through the ‘Your Booking’ section of the Website prior to the date of travel and will not take effect until checked with the Driver and confirmed to the Client by email.

PLEASE NOTE.
Should you the client cancel your reservation/booking ,two days or more before the scheduled pickup time (as mentioned in the voucher) the cancellation charge is 0% of the price of the initial booking.
A processing fee of 15%will however be charged.

PLEASE NOTE.
Should you the client cancel your reservation/booking , within 24 to 36 hours before the scheduled pickup time (as mentioned in the voucher), the cancellation charge is 50% of the price of the initial booking.

PLEASE NOTE.
Should you the client cancel your reservation/booking , within 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time (as mentioned in the voucher), the cancellation charge is 100% of the price of the initial booking fee.

If the Client doesn’t need the transfer on the date and time entered in the reservation/booking it is always possible to ask our Customer Support Team to reschedule.TaxisBarbados.com will do their best in order to find a driver for the new/edited reservation/booking. It will also depend on the given time or date and availability of vehicles or driver. Should the changes be made or taken place on the same day, new booking costs will be charged. If the Client decides to cancel the transfer, the booking will be considered as a cancellation within the 24hrs non refundable time frame.

If the Client cannot make use of the booking due to missing their flight, canceled flight, relocated flight or other unforeseen circumstances, this will be considered as a cancellation within 24hrs.TaxisBarbados.com is not responsible for the extra cost incurred. The Client will have to create a new booking if they still wish to use the services of TaxisBarbados.com.

Changes and cancellations by TaxisBarbados.com

 

TaxisBarbados.com will use all reasonable effort to honour the Client vehicle preference. However TaxisBarbados.com reserves the right to change vehicle type or class depending on availability or for safety reasons. In the event of a change in booking to a lower category or smaller vehicle for which a lower rate applies, Clients will be refunded the difference.

In the rare instance that TaxisBarbados.com may need to cancel a ride, clients will receive a 100% refund (which will be paid within 30 days from cancellation). However TaxisBarbados.com shall have no further liability to clients arising out of such cancellation. TaxisBarbados.com will, however, use all reasonable efforts to seek suitable alternative transportation for any confirmed booking subsequently canceled by us. In the event of a cancellation by TaxisBarbados.com which requires the client to seek alternative transportation, payments made towards the cancelled booking will be refunded to the client. However TaxisBarnados.com is not responsible for any extra cost incurred on this alternative transport.

Should there be a closure of the airport or seaport/cruise terminal, in the event of a storm or hurricane or unforeseen circumstances, TaxisBarbados.com will proceed with the 100% cancellation and will issue refunds for the cancelled reservations within 21days. The Client can also ask for and reschedule the transfer/booking for an alternative date and or time.TaxisBarbados.com is not responsible for any extra cost incurred on this alternative transport.

Changes and Cancellations by the Supplier

In case of a (flight) delay more than (1hour), the Driver holds the right to cancel the booking or charge for the client for the additional waiting time..In the case of a cancellation by the Driver, the full amount paid by the Client will be refunded.TaxisBarbados.com is not responsible for any additional cost incurred for alternative transport in such cases.

If your flight is cancelled please contact our Customer Service as soon as possible, if there is enough time TaxisBarbados.com will do everything reasonably possible to reschedule the transfer if provided with the updated flight details, and the client so desires.

However if the driver is on his/her way or already at the airport or pickup point, your booking will be considered as completed.

TaxisBarbados.com will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if the Driver needs to make any significant change to your booking or to cancel in total.TaxisBarbados.com will also use all reasonable efforts to find an alternative suitable Driver and vehicle for you with no additional cost to you.

Refund Policy

Any cancellation of the contract must be made in writing by email addressed to our Customer Service Centre, in addition to notification by phone.

Refunds will be paid within 30 days.

If the Client or Driver makes a complaint that includes a refund on a bookingTaxisBarbados.com will start an investigation and search for information on both sides. This will give 48 hours to both parties to reply with an explanation.

Should TaxisBarbados.com receive your cancellation request more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time of the transfer you wish to cancel, the total amount paid for this transfer will be refunded, minus the agreed booking fee. Your payment will not be refunded for cancellations received less than 24 hours from the scheduled time of the transfer you wish to cancel.

Child seats

Each country has different rules and regulations regarding the use of baby and child seats.

Child/ baby seats will be provided if booked whenever possible, however, there may be instances when such seats are unable to be provided. In such instances, you will be entitled to a full refund for seats not supplied. If you are unwilling to travel in the event that child/baby seats are not supplied, please provide your own.

If there is any inconvenience with the baby/booster seat at the moment of pick up and you can’t solve it with the driver please contact our Customer Service desk for assistance.

Luggage

Our prices include Luggage.

All luggage must be declared when the booking is being made. Smaller items that fit in the passenger footwell (e.g. a laptop case, handbag or small shoulder bag) do not need to be declared. The passenger shall be liable for all expenses incurred should additional vehicles be required to transport non-declared excess special or extra luggage.

If the Client has hand luggage that will not fit in the passenger footwell, there should be add on remarks specifying the size and width of each item.

Extra luggage, as well as bulky items, could be charged directly by the driver.

Special luggage must be specified in the comments of the booking so that your driver can provide the correct vehicle.

Contact

All contact related to the amendment of your booking details must be requested by email or through the contact number provided via our website.

It is absolutely essential to check that the email address and phone number as well as area code you provide is correct and that you read all incoming emails up to the time of your Transfer.

In the event of unavoidable alterations to the contract, TaxisBarbados.com will inform you by email through the address provided by you at the time of booking. Please note the act of sending this email is considered as proof of receipt by you. All other advisories or updates to you the client, will be sent via emails, by TaxisBarbados.com.

If for any reason you fail to be at the pickup point within a reasonable time after the scheduled collection time specified on your Voucher, your Driver will try to contact you by the mobile telephone number you have provided. Your driver will wait 90 minutes after arrival pick up time and 20 minutes at address pick up.

If it is not possible to reach you because you have not provided an operational mobile telephone number at the time of booking, you have no or poor connection, no signal, activated voicemail, the call is unanswered and there are no emails or messages received/answered by you, the service will not be provided, your Driver is relieved of their obligations and a refund will not be due.

If you have made a booking for seaport/cruise terminal pickup,TaxisBarbados.com kindly asks you to place the cruise line and ship name in the comments field of the booking. If the arrival time does not match the time in the booking, you will have to contact your driver immediately. If you cannot reach him, you should call our Customer Support Team. If you have no mobile reach, you can call on board at the guest services.

Force Majeure

TaxisBarbados.com and your driver cannot be held liable for delays, changes or cancellation of service due to Force Majeure, or to other circumstances that are unforeseeable or beyond the driver’s control.

Languages

TaxisBarbados.com will try to assist you in the language you require through our Customer Service help desk and by email assistance.

TaxisBarbados.com pays great attention to the quality of the translation of our websites and terms & conditions, in the event of any discrepancy the English version shall prevail.
